That really hit home for me, so I hope it does for you too.
I know what I’m not here to do. I can tell by the way I feel. When I feel like I’m wasting time, doing something unproductive, or doing something that I shouldn’t be doing, I don’t feel good.
On the other hand, when I’m writing or doing something that fulfills me, I can feel that it’s in line with who I am. I feel good. I feel excited. I feel passionate.
Even though some people do know what they were meant to do in this life, I don’t think you need to know exactly what you are meant to do in order to feel like you are using your time wisely. You just need to listen to your thoughts and feelings as you do things and then only do those things that make you feel alive and on track in some way.
